Moon and rising signs are common facets of astrological conversations.

If you haven’t heard of them, your Moon sign (the zodiac sign based on the moon’s position at your birth date) reveals your inward emotional world. How you feel and nurture your inner child. The part of you that needs care.

One’s rising or ascendant sign signifies the impression others have of you. A public side (through which sign was on the horizon at your exact time of birth).

It’s essential however to underline that your Sun sign’s who you are. It’s the main identity, the core and face. Mine’s Gemini.

Other aspects like Moon or rising/ascendant sign etc. are secondary parts of who you are. They’ll never be fully in charge or rule completely over your personality whatsoever.

They’re not to be mistaken with your Sun sign which is the ego and your true self. Therefore obviously the most central.

There are some who argue differently and that’s fine but I sternly deviate. Some mainstream astrologers, occultists and everyday new age spiritualists weirdly focus much more on things other than the Sun sign.

Obviously it’s imperative to know all bits and pieces of the entire truth. They’ve delved so deep and twisted things so far though, that they’ve almost fooled themselves into believing the laughable lie that somehow those other fragments are responsible for decisions and behaviors.

Another crock of shit humans with their flimsy and flawed minds dream up. The pop stuff sells among the peasantry and it breeds more of its kind, becoming a cycle. No surprise since it’s the normalized, easy and lazy way out.

It’s a misconception common among the average people who know little or nothing about astrology but follow the mislead for directions and cling to it. Their problem or delusion though.
